         Pinot Noir Blanc de Noirs Eiswein

Grape types to be used:
Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir 100%)

Description of production:
Very luxury and extremely rare dessert wine. Absolute icon product.
An ice wine of white colour produced of a red grape type. Pressed only
once to ensure that no colour will be squeezed out of the frozen grapes.
This ice wine represents the state of the art in ice wine making.
Dessert wine, ice wine. Picked and pressed while frozen at minimum
8° Celsius.

Appearance in the glass:
intense golden colour.

Smell:
Intense flavour of red fruits mixed with exotic aromas.

Taste:
Light, fresh, fruity. Very luxury dessert wine with a sweetness which is
very well combined with its lively acidity.

Food to match:
Aperitif, dessert, appetizer

Serving temperature:
6-8 ° Celsius

Shelf life:

         Trockenbeerauslese

Grape types to be used:
Huxelrebe, Ortega, Albalonga
(all white grape types, percentage depending on the vintage) 

Description of production:
Hand selected, highly botrytis affected, single grapes (like raisons). 

Appearance in the glass:
Gold colour, sticks to the sides of the glasses (church windows).
Fluid sunshine. 

Smell:
Honey like. Intense ripe and fruity bouquet. 

Taste:
Rich and delicious. Very sweet taste. Fresh and fruity. All kind of
exotic aromas such al litchis and honey melon. 

Food to match:
With dessert or as dessert. After dinner wine. Also very good to match
With spicy cheese, like blue cheese.

Serving temperature:
6-8 ° Celsius

Trockenbeerauslese 
 
 































 

         Eiswein

 
Grape types to be used:
Scheurebe, Weißer Burgunder (Pinot Blanc), Grauer Burgunder (Pinot Gris).
(all white grape types, percentage depending on the vintage)

Description of production:
Dessert wine, ice wine. Picked and pressed while frozen at minimum
-8° Celsius. Very little botrytis because of different grape types to be
chosen to produce ice wine. Therefore very clear and fresh fruity.

Appearance in the glass:
light gold colour. 

Smell:
Reminiscent of black currant, peach and strawberries.

Taste:
Light, fresh, fruity. Luxury dessert wine with a well balanced sweetness
combined with a lively acidity. Crisp and fresh. 

Food to match:
Dessert, fruits or spicy soups, fish or chicken. 

Serving temperature:
6-8 ° Celsius

Beerenauslese
Grape types to be used:
Ortgea, Albalonga
(all white grape types, percentage depending on the vintage) 

Description of production:
Dessert wine. Single selected, hand picked and overripe bunches
are harvested to make such a very complex wine. Botrytis effected,
noble red wine. 

Appearance in the glass:
gold colour.

Smell:
Strong flavour such as spice and herbs. Intense aromatic and muscatel
flavour.

Taste:
Intense taste of candy fruits such as apricots and bananas. Low in acidity.

Food to match:
Desert, fruits or spicy soups, fish or salads.

Serving temperature:
6-8 ° Celsius

Shelf life:
3-7 years
 
 
Auslese
Grape types to be used:
Kerner and Grauer Burgunder (Pinot Gris)
(all white grape types, percentage depending on the vintage) 

Description of production:
Mild white wine. Selection of very ripe bunches.

Appearance in the glass:
light gold colour.

Smell:
Fruity, like lemon, red cherries and mango.

Taste:
Well balanced between sweetness and acidity.
Crisp and fresh. Full bodied white wine with intense taste of grapes. 

Food to match:
Matches almost all kind of food. Can be served with food or can be
enjoyed as a glass of wine by itself. 

Serving temperature:
6-8 ° Celsius

Shelf life:
3-6 years

 

 
 
Spätlese
Grape types to be used:
Gewürztraminer and Weißer Burgunder (Pinot Blanc)
(all white grape types, percentage depending on the vintage)

Description of production:
Mild white wine. Late harvest style.

Appearance in the glass:
light yellow colour.

Smell:
Fruity, like green apple, grape fruit and bananas.

Taste:
Mild and enjoyable. Medium sweet.

Food to match:
Matches almost all kind of sea food and chicken, poultry, duck etc.

Serving temperature:
6-8 ° Celsius

Riesling
Grape types to be used: 
Riesling (100%) 

Description of production:
off-dry crisp white wine.

Appearance in the glass:
light yellow colour.

Smell:
Fruity, like roses, green apple, grape fruit.

Taste:
Crisp and fruity. Semi-dry.  

Food to match:
Sea food, salad, all light meats (not too spicy).

Serving temperature:
6-8 ° Celsius

Shelf life:

Red October

 
Grape types to be used:
Dornfelder and Regent
(all red grape types, percentage of blending is our secret!) 

Description of production:
Dessert wine style red wine. High quality Dornfelder and Regent
grapes are picked at a high level of quality. Special fermentation and
wine making skills are needed to produce such an outstanding red
dessert wine. No tanic acidity. Very compfortable mouth feeling.

Appearance in the glass:
deep ruby red colour with a hint of blue.

Smell:
Extremely fruity and aromas of strawberries, dark cherries, blueberries.

Taste:
Very mild and fruity. Well balanced between sweetness and acidity.
Smooth and comfortable on the palate. 

Food to match:
All spicy foods such as meat, beef, pork and chicken. Also very enjoyable
while served as an aperitif.

Serving temperature:
6-8 ° Celsius

Shelf life:
3-5 years

 

 


 Red October

 
Dornfelder
Grape types to be used:
Dornfelder (100%) 

Description of production:
High quality Dornfelder grapes are picked at a certain level
above the legal requirements. No fermentation on the skin. Heat treated
to extract the colour and minimise the extraction bitter aromas.

Appearance in the glass:
ruby red.

Smell:
Fruity, with aromas of strawberries and dark cherries.

Taste:
Mild and fruity. Well balanced between sweetness and acidity.
Off dry red wine. 

Food to match:
Enjoyable red wine for all kind of leisure occasions. Off dry, every day
drinking wine.

Serving temperature:
8 ° Celsius

Shelf life:
