Pressed only once to ensure that no colour will be squeezed out of the frozen grapes. This ice wine represents the state of the art in ice wine making. Dessert wine, ice wine. Picked and pressed while frozen at minimum 8° Celsius. Appearance in the glass: intense golden colour. Smell: Intense flavour of red fruits mixed with exotic aromas. Taste: Light, fresh, fruity. Scheurebe, Weißer Burgunder (Pinot Blanc), Grauer Burgunder (Pinot Gris). (all white grape types, percentage depending on the vintage) Description of production: Dessert wine, ice wine. Picked and pressed while frozen at minimum -8° Celsius. Very little botrytis because of different grape types to be chosen to produce ice wine. Therefore very clear and fresh fruity. Appearance in the glass: light gold colour. Smell: Reminiscent of black currant, peach and strawberries. Taste: Light, fresh, fruity. Luxury dessert wine with a well balanced sweetness combined with a lively acidity. Crisp and fresh. Food to match: Dessert, fruits or spicy soups, fish or chicken.
